About the Artist
DANIELA RIVERO
Mexican artist who studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts, specializing in printmaking and sculpture. She is currently represented by the Art Agency of Mexico City.
Her work has been exhibited in both Mexico and the United States. ÁREA Gallery, a well-known gallery on the East Coast, selected her for a series of group exhibitions. Recently, her work was part of "Games", "The Will of Matter" and "Inner Articulations" curated by the artist Isauro Huizar.
She also participated in the art sale "United" whose objective is to create economic support for artists, as well as support for two foundations. In September 2021, she attended the Open Studio residency in Oaxaca, Mexico. Her work is based on intuition, approaching and overlapping geometric figures to create harmony, thus achieving a simple beauty. Daniela‘s work aims to reduce expression to its essential minimum, using different materials and artistic techniques.
